Alone By the Sea

 

There once was a girl by the sea

Who saw where she wanted to be,

Although far away

She would get there someday...

New Year

 

There once was a girl thought she might

Turn from darkness and face into the light,

She welcomed the year

Without any fear,

And decided it'd all be alright.

Goodbye

 

When the time came to say goodbye,

It was... difficult.

 

 

My Dog is a Dork/Wookie

There is a young dog with four paws (!)
Who lives with us for a good cause,
He scares neighbours cats,
He gnaws on dead rats,
And came right off the set of Star Wars...

Why, Oh Why?

It would seem I can write a quick rhyme
In a very short amount of time, 
They may be quite lame
But I'm entertained, 
Particularly if I add wine :)

The Reason

There once was a woman who tried
To keep all her feelings inside,  
So she started to write
To see if she might,  
Free herself from all she'd denied.
