Fumblin' with Photos

To my avid readers (all one?!) of you... my photographs have been discarded due to syncing issues with google+ and my phone. They may reappear sometime... when I have time...
In the meantime... a pic from today:

My musing for the moment: I used to wait - for someone else, something else - in order to do 'things'. This year, I'm just gonna do stuff. Stuff I want, either by myself, or with someone else if someone else is keen. It's time to stop putting my life, my fun, on hold for someone else, someone that doesn't want to, or someone that isn't even there... 

Unexpected Turns

So life takes some unexpected turns sometimes. Or perhaps they're expected, deep down. Whatever the reason, I now get to re-evaluate and dream some new dreams. That's a bit scary for me, I've never dreamed big. But now's my chance, things are changing, I'm moving and growing in ways I wouldn't have a year or even two years ago...

There once was a girl by the sea

Who saw where she wanted to be,

Although far away

She would get there someday...

New Year

 

There once was a girl thought she might

Turn from darkness and face into the light,

She welcomed the year

Without any fear,

And decided it'd all be alright.

When the time came to say goodbye,

My Dog is a Dork/Wookie

There is a young dog with four paws (!)
Who lives with us for a good cause,
He scares neighbours cats,
He gnaws on dead rats,
And came right off the set of Star Wars...

It would seem I can write a quick rhyme
In a very short amount of time, 
They may be quite lame
But I'm entertained, 
Particularly if I add wine :)
